It is in this context that KFC Guyana sponsored the installation of the KFC Grandstand at the Ministry of Education Sports Ground on Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown. Officially commissioned on December 10, 2025, the new grandstand provides seating for 420 spectators, significantly enhancing comfort, safety, and accessibility for school and community sporting events.
This initiative supports the development of functional and inclusive sporting spaces that encourage youth participation, inter-school competition, and broader community engagement. Improved infrastructure at community grounds plays a vital role in nurturing talent, fostering teamwork, and strengthening national pride through sport.
